Gifts of Cash
Financial donations in the form of cash provide direct and immediate support. The most convenient form of giving, cash gifts may be made in the form of currency, checks or credit card. Make your donation by (1.) mail, (2.) online at www.urbanfamilycouncil.org, or (3.) by authorizing a monthly, recurring Direct Electronic Fund Transfer (DEFT). Gifts of cash, as allowed by law, are tax deductible for donors who itemize deductions.

United Way Campaign Consider donating to UFC through the United Way of Southeastern PA. Your payroll manager can help you schedule a monthly deduction using UFC's Donor Choice No. 8393.
Employer Matching Gifts Many employers generously match an employee’s gift to nonprofit organizations, providing another avenue for additional contributions to UFC. If your employer will match a gift, your company’s matching gift form should be submitted with you cash gift or pledge. Ask the human resources or benefits office at your workplace for more information.
Event Sponsor Help make our next big event better than ever! UFC is working to have our 2009 Fundraising Banquet & Silent Auction 100% sponsored so that every ticket sold can go to support the families we serve. Many of our other events including workshops, business meetings, and community activities for youth and families and donors require planning and money for rent, food and activities. Stocks & Securities Giving appreciated assets is one of the most tax-efficient ways to make donations. If you own stocks, bonds, or mutual funds that have appreciated in value, you have a unique opportunity to realize extra tax savings by making an outright gift.
Memorial/Tribute Gifts It is possible to give memorial and tribute gifts to UFC on an annual basis. Also, a named endowment fund can be established to provide permanent recognition while allowing the organization to ensure the funding for future programs.
In-Kind Contributions In-kind gifts may be made in the form of valuable items, sites/facility space, and services. Examples are auction and raffle items, office furniture, equipment for our game room, products for workshops and activities, and services for administration, renovation, and event needs.
